The inaugural classy cooking with Kasey kicked off with super amazing special guest…the Danger Zone. For you folks that don’t know the Danger Zone, you best get to know them because they put the danger in the zone. Not sure what that really means but check them out here..DangerZone
A quick stop at the market to get the goods for the Gingerbread house DEC OFF was filled with sweet candy dreams and Jagermiester, oh and a sandwich! Once we got back to the kitchen it was on! Eggs were flinging everywhere as was the glue for the houses…I took a load in the face from Visconti…hahahaha! It really did look like clean up. My mama will be so proud!
With three houses and a plethora of goodies to decorate with we went to work. Now I knew that Nick and Parker were going to build a flamboyant house..but little did I know that they were going to have an addition, a doghouse and a marshmallow dog. I went with a somewhat traditional house with mint shingles and coconut snow. I did have a sound proof wall because I overheard the Muffin Man, who lives next door to Mr. & Mrs. Gingerbread Man, say that they are very loud when having gingerbread sex…eeeeeeeewwwwww! Imagine the clean up after that! Crumbs everywhere!
In the end Parker had a chimney filled with Christmas juice and that plus the magical firework show on the Danger Zone gingerbread house’s roof…took the cake. I lost my first bake off.
