Ride’s exclusive board shapes are an exercise in art and engineering. We refine the sidecut, profile, flex and shape to create boards that shred in line with your personal style. Camber-centric shaping is a thing of the past. With Ride’s new rocker profiles we took a new, customized path that integrates all key elements – one dependent on the other – to deliver a peerless Ride.

This season we advanced our shaping concept to a whole new level with the introduction of LowPro and ProRize. The sidecut, flex and rocker profiles are uniquely shaped at each end to create a better feel and performance on snow. LowPro pushes shaping to the limits with a loose, fun, effortless feel you get from versatile LowRize in the tip, merged with the pop, control, and grip from our new ProRize in the tail.

Ride’s Total Shaping Approach has unveiled a whole new world of ways for crafting more customized, shapely women’s products. Our new LSD line is the first series of rocker boards shaped just for ladies.

• LowRize™ – With a nearly flat profile between the feet, the rocker begins at the extended blend zone to lift the contact points out of the snow just enough to give you the ultimate hook-free, smooth Ride without sacrificing pop when hitting the park.

Using less material by completely eliminating the traditional plastic top, Ride’s new hemp top sheet is lighter and stronger, and made from an easily renewable resource that requires little processing. Hemp is fast growing, requires no irrigation or pesticides, and helps clean up toxins from the ground. Feel good about what your Ride. Go topless! Available on the Society UL and the Slackcountry UL.

Membrain®

ThinLight top sheets.  Ultra thin, ultra smooth.

Ride lightens the load with Membrain® top sheets.  Weighing less than half of traditional plastic top sheets, Membrain® maintains a smooth feel by infusing urethane into fabric. Along with pushing limits in the world of lightweight, this process also allows us to push the boundaries when it comes to graphics. By utilizing the textures and aesthetics associated with a variety of fabrics, Ride is able to achieve graphic tricks that are simply not possible with conventional printing techniques.  Lightening the likes DH2, HighLife, Crush, Compact & Canvas models.

Slimewalls®

Skate-inspired urethane sidewall technology for extra-smooth Riding & durability.

Ride’s exclusiveSlimewalls® are forgiving and ductile, absorbing impacts rather than defending against them.  Just like your skate wheels, the urethane in Slimewalls® smoothes the interaction with the snow, wood or metal surfaces you may Ride on.  On top of all that, these babies are virtually indestructible, the most durable sidewalls in snowboarding.

• The 85A durameter urethane for smooth freestyle goodness.

GLASS: Ride takes stitched glass to new levels and tailors it to each boards needs.  Our unique glass designs are flatter and more consistent; therefore they are stronger with no gaps or stretching as can be found in woven glass.

Up for grabs is a one of a kind Farmer board, well there might be a few others floating around out there. The graphic on this board was drawn by none other then “The Fiz” AKAK Shawn Farmer, by far one of the funniest graphic I have ever seen. To be considered a contender for this board I want to see your best parody of “American Gothic” the painting by Grant Wood. If you are not sure of the painting have a look below. The winner will get this one of a kind board and I might even be able to get the Farm to swing by and sign it for you..except I have not seen the Farm in a long while…if any ones knows where he is tell him to come see me! All entries must be in by Tuesday June 1, 2010 at midnight. We will pick a winner the on Wednesday June 2nd.
